Q: Brown vaginal discharge

I have started low dose birth control 10 days ago and, I don't know if the two are related, but i have a no-odor, brown discharge. Could be blood. I also had sex with my boyfriend maybe 2 days before and extreme itch came. I'm not sure if the discharge and itch go hand in hand. I also dont know if i might be allergic to my boyfriend's semen.

ANY answers would be greatly appreciated.
