Q: brown spotting

i know it is common to get it when you are soon to be pregnant but i have not had sex in over a year. i chose to be abstinent. any ways so im getting alot of brown spotting. i had my period a little over 2 weeks ago i believe. i wont start my period again untill the 7th of june. i have no idea what is going on. it has been happening for quite some time now and i want to fool around with my boyfriend but cant with this. i just want to know what is going on. thanks
