Q: brown spot on leg

errr well im 15 and i had this thing on my leg, i don't even know if it was a mole but like 1 week ago my leg where the mole was at the top neer the knee cap started to get itchy so i started to scartch my leg, and 1 week on i notced that what looked like a mole had been scarched of there is like a lil brown outline left, Is this something to worry about? I told my mum this and she just says it was a spot, but i know i had a brown thing on my leg.
