were you a virgin before starting the pill? it is normal to have some pain and bleeding the first few times. You should try using store-bought lube and make sure you have plenty of it. It could be due to rough sex also. Make sure you use lots of lube, make sure you're really turned on before starting, go slow, and try different positions to see if it helps. If you weren't a virgin and you've tried all these things then you should definitely get it checked out. I wouldn't worry about the discharge, everyone has different reactions to birth control, and these usually go away after the first few months. How long did you wait after starting the pill before having sex? The pill is only effective after being on it for at least a week (most doctors will say 2 weeks to be on the safe side). If you had unprotected sex within a week of starting it then there is a chance you could be pregnant, but you wouldn't notice any symptoms yet. Again, the discharge is normal, but the painful intercourse is not.

Did you use lube?

I liked sex with a condom a little more because everything always felt lubricated with a condom. Then when I started on birth control I would have to stop every once in awhile to reapply, which was something I wasn't expecting. Just keep a bottle of lube near. If that doesn't help then speak with your gyno.

Also, are you tensing before sex? When you first start on birth control sex is freaky without a condom, especially if thats what you have been using for awhile. Its easy to get worried about things and tense up. And if you tense then sex won't feel as good.
