i had the same break in my left tib/fib back in 2004. I was able to walk in a month, and was running/jogging in 6 weeks. make sure you strengthen your muscles and become comfortable with daily activities before you go back to playing completely. I rushed back into basketball and had stress fractures all along the distal ends of both fibulas. not fun. in addition, i sprained my knee countless times. overcompensating the deficiencies of your hurt leg with your healthy leg is never a good idea. take your time
