Broken shaft

I have a problem and would like some feedback on it if you can. A few years ago I was married and was making love to my wife from behind. She moved suddenly and I broke my shaft near the end. I did not know it at the time. A urologist said nothing can be done because of scar tissue. I have viagra but have not yet taken it. I am thinking of getting a pump. I get an erection and can ejaculate but my erection doesn't last when I dare move or stop helping it. Will a pump help this problem? Thanks for advice. At 57 I hate being out of the game. On SSI now.
