my partner recently broke his leg. tibia and fibia. he had it pinned and plated.
after going back to the surgery he was told by his consultant hed have to go back in under local anaesthetic to have the extra pin out. and hed be in and out the same day.

after returning to the surgery again he was told by an understudy (the normal consultant wasnt there) that he has to go back in, under full anaesthetic and have all the pins AND the plate out. so hell have to stay overnight.

could anyone help me and tell me which 1 is right??
