Q: Broken Condom affect Plan B?

My boyfriend and I had sex on Saturday and we did not realize that the condom broke until after he had ejaculated in me. We ran out to a 24 hr. pharmacy and I took Plan B about, literally, 20 minutes after the incident. However, I just used the bathroom and a piece of the condom, the tip of the condom to be exact, just came out of me. I'm worried about a few things:
1. Does this affect the effectiveness of Plan B?
2. Could I have gotten an infection from the condom being in me for numerous days?
3. Could there still be more in me? I checked for broken pieces after we had had sex on Saturday, but I was not able to find anything. After finding that piece today, though, I looked again and I still did not feel anything.

It should not affect Plan B.
As for any remaining pieces, if there are any still inside you, your natural fluids will probably flush them out. To be on the safe side, you may want to douche and flush the canal out that way. (Normally, I tell women NOT to douche but I think it may be helpful in this case.)
If you notice any new, odd, or smelly discharge, you should go to the doctor as soon as possible. It is unlikely that a piece of condom causes you problems but just to be on the safe side, watch for any change that may indicate infection.
