Q: Broken bones in the foot
asked by: DoctorQuestion on February 26th, 2009
Hello,
I managed to break my fifth (I think...bone to small toe) metatarsal last friday 20th febuary 2009. I will be in cast until 6th April 2009 and have been informed by consulting doctor that I can weight bear on injured foot.
I have a skiing holiday booked to depart on 8th April and return 14th April and am wondering if it is safe to proceed with holiday or better to postpone until next season.
Many Thanks,
Jerry

I think it would be better for you if you skip this skiing season and rest your foot until the broken bone heals and gains strength.
