Q: bright red specks on arms

After awhile of being in the sun I get really tiny bright red specks on my arms (I don't know if they show up on any other parts of my body because it's usually just my arms that are exposed and I never think to look).
Once I'm out of the sun the gradually disappear.
They don't cause any pain or irritation I'm just curious to know what they are.

Some people are just highly sensitive to UV sunlight. People with photosensitivity have an immunological response to light which triggers a reaction on the skin. My niece gets blotches on her skin. She has fair skin. What color is your skin?
