I had a tooth pulled and now need a bridge. My dentist prepped the teeth for the bridge and in stalled the temp. I had a lot of pain after went back and he said I need a root canal done on one of the prepped teeth. went home and still had pain went back and now he says I need a root canal done on both of the prepped teeth. I never had any problems or pain with those teeth. Did he cause the problems when he prepped the other teeth for the bridge? Shouldn't he have known before if I needed the root canals done, and wouldn't there have been an issue with those teeth before he did anything?

Not necessarily...The teeth could have been disturbed by the dentist and have now come to life...I would say that this has nothing to do with what he has done whatsoever...Just part of working on your mouth...Good luck...
