Q: Breasts getting bigger

I am just over 40 and so far my periods are pretty regular. But since the past one year my breasts seems to be increasing at an alarming rate. I used to be a size 34 not I am 36 C in just a year. I know I am not pregnant and I am not on any medication. Any idea what could be the problem? They also feel a bit sore and really itchy all the time
