Breast Reduction

I had a breast reduction on November 17, 2010, A week ago I was told that I have nipple nicrosis on my right breast. The surgeon said that it would start to seperate around the nipple. I had a little open wound underneath the nipple and now its tripled in size and starting to go underneath. He also told me to keep it covered for 4 to 5 days then change the bandage and put Iadion cream on it. Not to get it wet. Its looks like its being eaten away. Its all raw and red. Should the Doctors be doing anything? Is this normal? What should I do?
