Should I have milk coming out of my breast if my youngest child is 2 years old. I had a positive result on a ovulation predictor test on October 2nd. I was sexually active on that day and the 3rd and 4th. I have taken a pregnancy test (the 5 day sooner) but the result is negative.

Take another test with FMU when your period is due.

FMU = First Morning Urine. It has a higher concentration of HCG (pregnancy hormone) in it.

I know the home pregnancy tests say they can be used up to 5 days before your next missed period, but that isn't accurate very often. It is best to wait until your period is due and/or late and test.

am i pregnant
My period is due to start on October 16th. Up until 20 minutes ago I had no inkling that it was going to start. I went to use the restroom and there was little pinkish/red blood when I wiped. Now my stomach is cramping on the left side of my stomach a little. I was hoping that I got pregnant since I had sex after the ovulation predictor came back positive. I have had diarrhea for the last two days and now i'm spotting so am I not pregnant?

Postive Ovulation Predictor Test but still got menstrual cycle
Well today my period has come on full when I use the restroom and it is not brown anymore it is red. So I can't be pregnant. But how can you have a positive ovulation test be sexually active prior to, during, and after that time and not get pregnant? Could I be pregnant and the egg didn't implant in time to signal my body not to menstruate?

You don't get pregnant every time you ovulate. On average, it takes a healthy couple approximately 12 months to get pregnant.

You also may want to have a blood test to check your hormones. An elevated prolactin level can cause lactating in a woman who is not pregnant.
