I'm a 19yr old black female and i've been having benign lumps since i was 16 yrs old. I want to know if by discharge you mean liquid leaking out of your nipple. Because I have some white, its not fluid and its not hard its like drying glue.. i don't know how else to explain it. It inside my nipple it doesnt come out, i've seen it since i was a little girl. I can't really seen it much when my nipples are relaxed but when they get erect i can see the white stuff comes more to the surface then when they relax again it goes back!

Is this normal? am i okay?
Since im known to frequently get lumps i was wondering if this means something bad about my breast?

Hi browning714. Love the Betty Boop avatar!
As far as I know, discharge only refers to leakage or something that actually comes out of the breast. I believe the white substance on/in your nipple is normal if it only occurs once in a while. If you notice it every day, it may be something for the doctor to check out.
