Hi there,

I have been on the BC Yasim for about 8 months now and it has been working great to regulate my periods which were all over the place before.

Well last month we were going to Florida and my Period was due while we were away so my dr told me i could start a new pack of my pills rather then take the white reminder pills and my period would not come.

Well that worked great no period while away but when i got to my second week on the new pack i started spotting abit and bleeding a bit ... not alot but enough to require a pantyliner and its bright red not browny colored.

What could be the problem anyone have any ideas? Do you think this is likley being caused from skipping the sugar pills and going to straight to a new pack?

Its been about 6 days now with this light bleeding ... my normal period only lasts about 3 days!

Thanks for any replies!

Cathy

You're spotting because that's just what happens when you try to skip periods. There is no actual problem. This is normal.

my dr never told me that i would have bleeding during the second pack.
But im sure you are right and from everything i have been reading it seems to all point to the fact of skipping the sugar pills and going right to a new pack.

Thanks!

You skipped in the right way; but that doesn't change the fact that almost all women have spotting the next month! Smile

Maybe. Most likely; but if you don't, it's okay. You should, however.

I have the same problem..
I started a new pack before I went to see my boyfriend, we had sex and now that I'm two weeks into my new pack I've started to spot as well.. mine's lasted for about 6 days as well..

so does this mean that something is wrong..?
