Q: Breakthrough Bleeding on Ortho Evra

I have been on the Ortho Evra patch for approximately 5 years. Just recently, I have started to experience breakthrough bleeding. During my last 4 week cycle, I experienced breakthrough bleeding nearly the entire 3 weeks leading up to my period. It started off very light and continued to get heavier until I removed the patch for my period. I kept the patch off for the required 7 days. When I put my new patch on, things seemed fine for the first week and a half, but now the breakthrough bleeding is back. At this point, it's just a very very light pink flow. Is it possible that my body has become tolerant to the BC, since I've been on it for so long? Or should I be concerned that something is wrong?
