So I'm 16...I think i'm a hypochondriac but not too sure...

Anyway, Two days ago i started having a random sharp pain that lasts for about 5 seconds along the top left side of my skull. It goes away after 5 seconds but occurs about 10 times a day. I also have had ringing in my ears and my left armpit hurts sometimes randomly. Brain tumor? something else?

Brief, sharp, severe jabbing pains about the head, that resemble a stab from an icepick, nail, or needle, that, typically last from a fraction of a second to 1 to 2 seconds, are known as idiopathic stabbing headache or icepick headache.
These pains come as a single episodes or as brief repeated volleys.
Their locations is usually one sided, affecting the orbital, temple, and, parietal area.
It's harmless type of headache, with unknown reason (that's why the name is idiopathic)
Sometimes, the pains can be brought up by rapid alterations in posture, physical exertion, bright light, and head motion.

Ear ringing, can be due to different reasons.
Do you have some additional symptoms along with ear ringing?
When is the ringing most prominent?
For how long have you been experiencing ear ringing?

The 'icepick headaches' only occur when i am really concentrating on something or yelling loudly for instance at the football game I was at recently. The ear ringing is only in my left ear and it is always clogged with pressure when i wake up but then it goes away after being awake for about an hour. The ringing happens randomly and when it does it is kind of achy and last for about 10 seconds. The headache makes me feel weak for the 2 seconds they last as well...but I'm guessing that is normal? I am probably over-reacting...as usual. Thank-you for your response.
