Q: Brain feeling - PSP ?

I have been getting worse each day that I wake up. I don't know if I'm going to wake up at all. I traveled to San Francisco to meet with a neurologist who diagnosed PSP but said I should meet with a local neurologist. We (my husband and I) met with Dr. Michiko Bruno, a local (Honolulu, HI) neurologist who said that: he (the SF neurologist) probably told me to meet with a local neurologist because he had had only 1 session to diagnose psp and he couldn't diagnose it in one session. She further stated that all neurological diseases are related and that the memory goes all at once...I have been waiting for my memory to go but it doesn't seem to want to go all at once. And that maybe I would have this icky brained feeling until my memory went. She could only offer me Librium as a treatment for the icky brain feeling. IS there any there other treatment for this icky brain feeling that I have? It has gotten worse since I saw her last week. Thanks for any help you can give me...Sincerely, Susan

Brain feeling
The letters PSP stand for progressive supranuclear palsey--which I don't think I have. I am going to speak to the neurologist who diagnosed me next Wed., April 23rd. Ihope to have a more definitive diagnosis then. Do yo0u have any experience with medication for the brain feeling that I have? Regrads, Susan Fischer-Diaz

have you been tested for lyme disease??????? I suggest going to a lyme literate md...look it up. Lyme can attack the brain, causing neurological symptoms, and freqently mimics other diseases. Testing will often come up with a false negative when using standard medical tests....that's why it's important to go to an LLMD....lyme literate md. I suggest doing some research..it will amaze you.
