can anyone give me advice. i was diagnosed with bowel cancer a year ago. had an Op to remove a tumour low in my bowel/colon then followed by radio/chemo last year. The latter now concluded and I await tests in the next month to see how things have
gone etc. Anyway my question is since the Op i have suffered from erectile problems
and having been a rather active guy before the Op this problem really frustrates.

Many may say I should concentrate on hoping i will be free of the cancer and beiong a positive person i believe i will but i cant overcome my sexual problem.

Can the doctor or anyone on this forum supply me with practical advice to overcome
this problem or from the medical point of view could the Operation have permanently damaged nerves etc and my sex life is over ?? My pride and embarassment prevents me from speaking to my own GP or the hospital who i am still under.

Thank you to anyone who can advise or help
