Botox injection side effects ???

Hi I went in for an examination of my rectal area yesterday and they found a fissure at the back of the anus. They gave me 20units of botox. I was just wondering am I to expect pain for some time from the injection, as I have passed bowels twice now, and the pain was a lot worse than when I went into hospital, and so is this becuase of a side effect of having the injection in that it will hurt for while before it takes effect?

Also during the examination they also found some minor haemmoroids which they done nothing about, how would be the best way to remove myself of these without having to take ointments?
