Seek a medical professional as soon as possible if the symptoms persist. Don't get overly worried about it though until you see what the doctor has to say.
Do you suffer from migraines? if you do, ever heard of migraine equivalent? it causes numbness and actually when you have one you don't experience the pain of the migraine just the numbness sensation. If you google it there is a lot of info on the web about it.
Not saying that it is for sure that, I am not a doctor. I just have experienced numbness a lot in the past and it ended up being a migraine equivalent.
Hope you start feeling better soon!
