Today my boobs started hurting really bad, they never hurt unless I'm pregnant. I just come of my period yesterday, but it was not the usual red, it was a reddish brown to an orange color. It was lighter than usual, too. I was the usual 5 days but I did go thru many kotex then normal. Is it possible that I am pregnant or I'm I going crazy?

Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Answer A28319
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Sore breasts, lighter & altered periods, could be few of early symptoms suggestive of pregnancy. Look out for development of any other new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. Wait and watch for your next periods. If you suspect chances of pregnancy, you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). You may also consider taking a urine pregnancy test (on an early morning first urine sample) after 7-10 days to confirm pregnancy, or get it confirmed by a blood/serum HCG test (avoid lot of fluid intake or caffeinated beverage intake in the previous night before test). Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
