keertana999,
"Bone tumors" is a pretty broad term.
It means any lesion of a bone, be it benign or malignant, primary or secondary. There are many, many different types of bone tumors.
There are benign tumors of bone, such a simple cysts, bone cysts, unicameral bone cysts, giant cell tumor of bone, osteochondromas, etc.
There are malignant tumors of bone, such as osteosarcomas or chondrosarcomas.
There are primary tumors of bone, which are tumors that originally arise within the bone tissues itself. Secondary tumors are lesions which arise in another tissue and then metastasize to bone.
So, the term “bone tumors” covers a lot of things.
If you have been told that you have a bone tumor, you need to discuss this with your physician.
Good luck.
