Question Hi there.
I have been living with a pain in my right hip for 16yrs. My doctor has now told me I need total hip replacement. My right leg is now slightly shorter than the other one.I am due to go for surgery on8th feb 2009 and i still need to understand what is bone grafting and how does it fit with total hip replacement in my case.

I am looking forward to the surgery and scared at the same time since i was told there'll be relief from the endless pain.

I am greatfull to have found this site and actually get comments from people who have gone through what i'm going through.
Thanks
