Ok, I have googled this and about Every thing I have read says this is a sign of pregnancy.. the other day I noticed blue veins running down to my nipples. I've never had them before even around the time of my period. my breasts are very tender and have grown so fast I have new stretch marks on them.. I haven't gotten my period yet this month but been light cramping at times but the last 2 months my period has not been normal which normally it is.. Sep I had such a light period it was basically spotting and one day even stopped and was about 4 days long.. Oct tho it lasted 3 weeks.. mostly spotting a few days it was normal but had horrible cramps that went up through my back now this month no period.. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend right before he left for Afghanistan 2 months ago.. so there is a possibility I could be.. I know everyone is gonna say take a test but im just curious right now if it could Possibly be Anything else before I buy one..

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Progressively lighter and shorter periods, spotting, appearance of blue veins over breasts, breast tenderness, stretch marks on breasts, abdominal cramps could suggest chances of pregnancy. Other causes for alteration in period pattern could include hormonal changes, thyroid abnormalities, endometrial problems etc. If pregnancy is suspected, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of pregnancy and consider visiting your gynecologist/obstetrician at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). If pregnancy gets ruled out, go ahead with getting further evaluation done to look for the underlying cause or your altered periods. Treatment as needed (based on examination and investigations results) would be started to help you get your periods and regulate them. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
