Q: Bloody mucus discharge

I have been taking birth control and my periods were coming every week to every other week. Now when I am supposed to be on one I'm not, but I did notice some bloody mucus(like a 6 inch strand). What is going on? Could I be pregnant? Shocked

If you take your pills correctly then it's unlikely (not impossible though) that you're pregnant. How long have you been taking them? With some bcp you can get some breakthrough/irregular bleeding at first.
