Q: bloody discharge from belly button

A male friend of mine has a bloody discharge coming from his belly button. He has some discomfort around it (and recently has developed red marks around his belly button) and back pain. I am concerned. What could be causing it?

Sounds like your friend has a nasty infection.

This should not be ignored. He needs make an appt with a doctor right away. An infection should not be left untreated as they can turn ugly and quick.
