Q: blood pressure readings

I had once read that you should take 3 blood pressure readings a few minutes apart. Then I read that blood pressure readings affect the arteries so taking it this often would not give you an accurate reading.

Is there a minimum interval between blood pressure readings to ensure it is accurate?

Extremely eHealthy

At least two following measurements are done at each arm.
If the first measurement is elevated, another measurement is taken in the same arm after 60 seconds. Then the other arm is measured.

The average of the two measurements in the arm that supplies the more abnormal reading is considered to be the correct blood pressure.
The arm that has the higher blood pressure is the one that's used in the future.
