ok so my fince is having this heavy period but the blood is very bright red and very thin. She has been sick the past few days too. What is wrong is what she wants to know?

Heavy periods along with changes in bleeding pattern could be due to many reasons. She should consider visiting her doctor/gynecologist for a thorough check (examination and investigations) to look for the cause for her symptoms. It is difficult to comment on the diagnosis without examining her and without further tests.
