Digestive and Bowel Disorders Answer A5137
Current medical status: blood in vomiting while taking lunch and still feel something stuck in my throat which is making harder to swallow any thing
Current medical treatment: one tylenol last night

Blood when vomiting is a very serious sign. If you had a previous history of chronic gastritis, or a gastric or duodenal ulcer, then the blood might indicate that the ulcer ruptured. It is an emergency situation and you should go to a hospital immediately.

If the amount of blood was only drops then part of the vomited substance might have damaged the mucosa of the throat. If this is the case, then it will take several days until the mucosa heals by itself. No additional treatment is needed.
