Hello,

i have a question related to food. Today i was eating donner kebab as i ate the half i realised that there was a little blood stain on the wrapper of the food. it was like the person who was preparing has cut his/her finger and had a drop on it. It was around 15 minutes later i ate the donner after preparation. in this case if the person preparing was irresponsible and had some drops inside my meal as well and i ate it am i at risk? its a little bit long scenario but it makes me nervous. Sad i didnt have known bleeding parts in my mouth but nowadays i have adolescence teeths coming out. Thanks in advance for your anticipated responses.

Brunettegirl,

HIV dies 30 seconds to a minute after it hits the air.

The enzymes in the digestive system will kill HIV.

If you are worried, please wait three months and get tested. If you are still worried after that, take another test after another three months.

All the best.

thanks for your quick reply. I think this answer is more than enough for me because of the time passed before i ate the food.

Thanks again.
