Q: Blood fats
asked by: DoctorQuestion on June 25th, 2008
What does the test results reveal. Should see a dietitian first.

I've done a lot of research online about Crestor(Rosuvastatin). Not good at all based on http://spacedoc.net/board/viewforum.php?f= 13 and a few other people.

I haven't taken any medication of this sort and don't what to pollute my body with toxins.

According to your results (from the forum) for LDL and triglycerides, you can start taking medicines for lowering the blood fats’ level. Statines (including Crestor) are mostly drugs used for treating the raised blood fats (hyperlipoproteinemia). You should make another lifer status test after 3 months because all statines (including Crestor) can damage the liver.

Diet is absolutely necessary in all types of increased blood fats no matter if you are taking medicines or not.
