3 1/2 months after her second consolidation for AML my 71 year old mother still has a low blood count. 70 hgb 1.7 wbc. 1.6nuet, 72 platelett. these counts have remained relatively the same since january 10th. Except Hgb drops constantly and she requires a transufusion every 3=4 weeks, Last two BMA have come back insuficient cells for diagnoses, Am wondering just how low can hgb go and has anyone heard of this happening before
