I'm just putting this out there because I really would like to get some answers.

I'm 19 now and ever since I got my period when I was around 13 I've had 8 day long periods every 18 days or so.

Last Spring some friends finally convinced me to go see a doctor and get on the pill.

Ok, first they put me on ortho tri cyclin lo, the first month it worked, second month it was back to normal (meaning normal for me) periods.
Also I broke out in terrible acne on my cheeks and chin

Then they put me on normal ortho tri cyclin. Same thing happened, good the first month, back to normal on the second. I also started using products like proactiv but it didn't help at all.

Then they put me on loestrin (sp?) and two weeks in I had spotting then my period, and it lasted for about 10 days, stopped for a few days, and now I'm back on again.

Also, this entire summer I have had blood clots, sometimes larger, and some cramping. Both of which I have never had before.

Also I thought I had a UTI in the late summer, but the tests came back negative. Which she said could happen sometimes, but I had some pain again this fall but it when away in a couple days. Also, I've been finding it very uncomfortable to wear a tampon, so I've had to use pads the whole time.

Needless to say I'm starting to get frustrated and if anyone has any advice they could offer I would really appreciate it. Thank you. Or if anyone has some words of wisdom or encouragement I'd appreciate that as well.
