blood clot where ovary was

I had a total vaginal hysterectomy with laproscopy to remove my ovaries and tubes. At my 7 week checkup they found a blood clot where my ovary used to be. I had a cat scan done with and without contrast to confirm it was still there. They want to keep repeating this test which is a pain in the necck, arm, wherever they pinch me. couldn't I take something to dissolve this?
