Hi, my name is Kathy and my daughter is 28 weeks pregnant. Last week she did some spotting and the doctor couldn't explain. Now she has blood along with colostrum coming out of her nipples. Her doctor says she thinks it is a virus. I am not comfortable with this diagnosis, can someone help? Thanks!

"Thinks" it is a virus. I didn't realize that there is a virus that would cause such a symptom.

Like you, I'm not comfortable with this.

Seek a 2nd opinion...

...from what I undertand...bleeding from the nipple(s) is not part of pregnancy or otherwise...

Definately seek another opinion.
