i have been to my dentist twice with this small bump on the roof of my mouth she told me its a blocked saliva gland on the roof of my mouth on the hard pallet,but i have had it 4 monthes,can they last that long,please help me.

Did the dentist take any x-ray?
Where exactly is the bump?
How far is it from the gum line of which tooth?
Did you have dry mouth (less saliva) this past 4 months?
