bloating is very very normal in early pregnancy, im not 100% sure about back pain, i know it happens a lot in later pregnancy but i dont see why it cant happen in early pregnancy, especailly if your that bloated

I had mild lower back cramps from when i was supposed to start my period and for about 2 weeks after that. It's normal. Every now and then it will come back along with mild cramps/gassy feeling in tummy usually when i have to pee. It's normal!!!!! Don't worry.

Oh, and I did have when i was 4 weeks back pain. I used a heating pad for about 10 minutes at a time and after a week it went away.

I am 7 weeks pregnant, 3 days ago I felt really sick & drained, but yesterday not too bad apart from really bloated and a gurgling tummy, and I have had the runs too (sorry to be descriptive !) today I don't feel as bloated, still have a gurgling tummy and again had a few trips to the loo. Is everything ok? why don't I feel sick all the time. I may be panicking unneccesarily, but this is my first time, I miscarried last year, at 6 weeks and I just want everything to go right this time. can't see midwife til next week.

I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second (daughter is 8 this year) and I am SO bloated and uncomfortable. I look about 3 months pregnant!! Seriously, I am having issues with my clothes my stomach is that big. Totally different from last time round so i'm worried that it's not normal. Cant see midwife until week after next

Yes. It will calm down a little. This is called the first trimester bloat.

I am so so glad other people are feeling like me! I was searching the internet as i am only 4-5 weeks pregnant but i cant sleep for more than a few hours as i feel uncomfortable and i also have the runs after i eat lunch plus my tummy will not stop gurggling! I was worrying as this is my first pregnancy but feel a bit more relaxed now i know other people are going through the same.

I am almost 6 weeks along with my second pregnancy, and I am so unbelieveably bloated! Plus, I've had tummy troubles for the past two weeks. I didn't have any of this with my first pregnancy, and I was starting to get really frustrated and upset because I look so terrible. It sounds like this is somewhat normal, so I'm thankful for that. I hope this goes away soon! I already look 4 months pregnant!

omg i am sooo glad im not the only one i am 7 weeks and i am so bloted it is horrible i too look really pregnant lol and i was so worried that it was something bad because its my first so i didunt know what to expect!

i am now almost 14 weeks... from the time i was 5 weeks until about 2 weeks ago i was the same way (minus the runs). but around 11 or 12 weeks when my uterus popped up above my pelvic bone, the bloating went away and now i actually look pregnant. dont worry ladies, it will go away soon! (and even if it doesnt, most people think baby bellies are adorable, so just relax and be happy that you have a reason to look fat and bloated!)

I am almost 5 weeks and I feel the same way. Bloated and so gassy! I was really worried about the gas cramps at first, but then I realized what it was. Every day, mostly in the evening. Strange. My clothes are tight too. But like Chrisseeg said, now we have a reason to have a belly! Don't worry! Everything I've read says it is totally normal.

I feel the same way. Gassy, bloated, tummy-gurgles. I spotted yesterday (WARNING: TMI)a light pink, and then some brownish stains. Nothing more last night or today. I am 5w4d. I have an u/s on 07/23 and can't wait to see what is going on inside. I hope it's not another CP. I had DET/IVF on 06/23.

As soon as I eat, my stomach starts gurgling and I get terrible gas. This is my first, so I don't know what to expect. There's so many things others just don't tell you!

Hi it's really nice to feel like there is support out there. Myself and my husband are trying for a baby and I'm a few days late. Has anyone had a negative test but felt pregnant? I have no babies so im not sure how I'd feel. I'm bloated, feeling sick for a minute or two thoughout the day, my stomach feels hard and my belly button feels less shallow. Thanks x

Yes..I am about 5 weeks pregnant and my first test was negative and then a week later i had a positive test on three tests after. I didn't really have many symptoms except chronic heart burn and my breasts were a little bigger. If you continue to not get your period wait a few days and take another test. Hope this helps.
