Q: blisters on fingers

hi, ive just read a post where you asked a reader if the symptoms she described were on the sides of her partners fingers. i have small white / skin coloured spots / blisters on my fingers, mainly on the sides, but also some appear on other parts of the fingers. they mainly appear on the two fingers next to my thumb, on both hands. they flaire up very quickly and are very itchy. they appear for a few weeks then disappear again. i have what appears to be the same thing on my toes. they only way to get relief from the spots on my fingers is to burst them which leaves marks and is unsightly. i also have a skin problem on my scrotum, which is also itchy. my gp has not been very helpful and embarrassment has prevented me from going back to him.. please help

Welcome to EHEALTHforum!
Do you find the small bumps slightly elevated and not breaking easily?
Have you noticed that small blisters come together and form large blisters?
Are the itching and/or pain, getting worse after contact with soap, water, or irritating substances?
Do they crust and eventually crack after releasing the fluid?
Is this cracking painful as well as unsightly and takes weeks, or even months to heal, with dry and scaly skin in a meantime?

hiya
thank you for replyin, in answer to your questions, the blisters are very small, as embarrassing as this is, they are very hard to burst, and i have to use my teeth to burst them and they make a loud/hard bursting noise when they do burst, the scab or scabs do take along time to clear up, and the scabs seem to join into a large scab, the skin looks shinny, or scabby. I also have a patch of skin on both sides of my scrotum that a permanently itchy or raw. soap or other products do not seem to make things worse
