Hi Everyone,
I'm currently 21 years old and for the last 3.5 years I have had these blisters appearing in my mouth. Also around this time I presented with a very strange rash on my body mostly on my trunk and arms. My GP thought I had measles/mumps or even shingles, but they rash didn't match any of the descriptions for these infections. He ended up putting me on a dose of corticosteroids and sent me home. I however, have not been able to get rid of these bumps in my mouth, and think that they may actually have something seriously wrong. They are painful at times especially when they grow larger, but they eventually do pop. They form on my hard palate and along the sides of my cheeks most recently. When the blister(s) pop as I said within the title it leaves a formed almost gel like substance that is sticky and will stick to my fingers. I even thought maybe I was allergic to certain foods, but I don't see them forming when any particular food is ate. My mom has lupus and therefore thought that I too was showing a symptom of lupus however I've researched for a while and the symptoms don't totally match up.

If anyone has any suggestions, or like to share them stories please feel free.

Extremely eHealthy
Mouth lesions located at the upper palate and other parts of oral cavity, in form of blisters, can be a symptom of reccurent infection with herpes simplex virus (the one that causes cold sores at the lips).
Since the herpes virus stays dormant for lifelong in certain skin and/or mucosa areas, the herpes blisters, sores can reoccur at least 2-3 times a year after the initial presentation of the infection.
Another possible diagnosis is an autoimmune disease (your own immune system attacks parts of your own body), known as pemphygoid.
It is a chronic autoimmune inflammatory disease characterized by bubbles in mucous membranes and, occasionally on the skin.
Usually affects older people, but, young males aren't an exception.

Consult a dermatologist about pemphygoid diagnosis!
Best wishes!
