Q: blighted ovum w/ low Hcg levels

I went to my first prenatal visit on March 25, where I was 4weeks and 4days (LMP Feb 22). They did all the standard testing. They called me back the next day and said my Hcg levels were low and that it could be due to a really early pregnany but they wanted me to come back in a test again. I asked what my levels were and she said 727 and that the Progesterone looked good. Having a blighted ovum in the past, I immediately began to panic and feel as though "here I go again." I went yesterday morning to take my second Hcg test and the doctor's office was supposed to have the results for me today. Well, their computers were down all day and they didn't have access to their charts. I suggested that they have the lab fax over my results as I am very anxious and it couldn't be healthy for me to worry like I am. But, not response from the Dr. office. I am so frustrated (and worried-sick). I have researched on the internet and I cannot find where an Hcg level of 727 is considered low at 4w4d. It looks to be within the normal range. Someone please help!!!!!! Crying or Very sad

blighted ovum
Just diagnosed with a blighted ovum at 8 wks and 4 days. Had some minor bleeding (mostly dark blood on wiping) duringthe first 2 weeks of my pregnancy. My doc saw a gestational sac at 4wks, gestatinal sac and fetal pole at 5 1/2 weeks. According to the tech on 2/5 (at 8 wks and 3 days),saw a heart beat but could not pick it up due to my fibroids. Doc sent me to perinatologist on 2/6 since they have better US machine. On 2/6, they found an empty gestational sac. HCG was 36K on 2/6 and down to 25k on 2/9. Repeat US by the doc on 2/11 saw a tiny embryo way much smaller than the embryo seen on 2/5 by the tech. Doc said that my body is reabsorbing the baby and that I might start bleeding soon. Have an appoinment next week mon for repeat US. I am ready for the worse but I still hope all goes well next mon.

hi there, I had a blighted ovum sometime back, and I completely understand the feeling. I got it after I had a first m/c of twins that were too close together to survive the first trimester, and after that I had en ectopic at the liver.... I am pregnant again, hoping for the best...
