Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you are on any birth control measures, and not regular with your birth control use, possibility of pregnancy cannot be ruled out (as you do not remain protected if you miss your pills). The spotting/bleeding in midcycle time is common side effect of prolonged hormonal contraceptive pill use (also known as withdrawal bleeding). At times this can also suggest possibility of implantation bleeding (pregnancy). Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation to look for underlying cause. Be in regular follow-up with your treating gynecologist. If you suspect to be pregnant, request for getting serum/blood HCG levels done to confirm/rule out pregnancy. Maintain healthy diet. Drink plenty of water.
Take care.
