I went and used the restroom and saw when I was done and on the toilet paper that I was bleeding as if I was on my period. I know I am not supposed to be on my period yet since I am on birth control and I am not taking the "sugar" pills yet. I do have cramps but the bleeding only seems to happen when I use the restroom.

I think what you are describing is spotting - not enough blood to mess up your panties but enough to show up on toilet paper. Spotting is a fairly normal occurrence and can be caused by your birth control pills.
