Q: Bleeding vagina after masturbation

Hi,

After putting a condom on a thing that kind of resembled a penis, I started to masturbate. After this, my vagina was bleeding. I shouldn't be getting my period for a week (I'm on birth control). This happened last week too.

Is something wrong?? I'm always really paranoid about stuff that goes wrong down there, because I really want kids in the future. I'm just really scared right now. My boyfriend told me not to worry.

What do you guys think? Should I be worried?

Did you have any pain or irritation?

Have you had a pelvic exam?

I have not had a pelvic exam.
A bit of irritation, but it's gone now, nothing really painful.

Was it a lot of bleeding and did you put any lubrication on it?

maybe the condom caused the irritation? condoms irritate me esp the ones with the lube already on them

The bottom line is that you shouldn't use just anything to pleasure yourself with. Some items may have hard to see, sharp angles that can cut or scratch you. The flesh inside you is very tender and sensitive. Also, certain things can irritate you. For example, you wouldn't want to use anything that you're allergic to. You wouldn't want to use anything rough that could tear a condom. You also need to make sure that you're not using the item too roughly. The penis is flesh and blood that can only have so much impact but something hard like a broomstick could do real damage if used too roughly. I know it's embarassing but if you feel the need to play around with sex toys you need to get the real thing and not improvise with household objects.

Thanks for the advice. The condom was lubricated, so maybe it was that that caused the irritation. It wasn't really a lot of blood, I used a few kleenexs to dab it away, and after a few minutes it stopped bleeding. I think it may have been a scratch on the flesh, maybe not from the inside.
Sounds like I should head down to the sex shop...It's getting really tedious trying to find household stuff, and by the sound of it it's not really safe.
Thanks again!!
