Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice. Past few months been getting worse, very painful sex with heavy bleeding afterwards, swollen stomach that makes me look pregnant, sharp stabbing pains on both sides of lower abdomen and general achey pain all over abdomen area. In past few days has got really bad, bleeding in-between periods and tops of thighs and back hurting bad. I've had 2 large ovarian cysts before which i had removed and had the symptoms of swollen stomach and the pain, but it was never this bad. I am scared to go to the doctor as due to my age they pass it off as ibs or in my head without even looking at my stomach or anything, it took me months to get a diagnosis for the cysts before. I'm not s hypercondriac, its just its starting to worry me now. I've wanted to attach a picture but not sure how??. Anyone got any idea or advice what it could be?
Thankyou x

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Since you have had history of ovarian cyst before, consider meeting a gynecologist and not regular doctor for your symptoms. The symptoms of (very painful sex with heavy bleeding afterwards, swollen stomach that makes me look pregnant, sharp stabbing pains on both sides of lower abdomen and general achey pain all over abdomen area) suggest vaginal infection, PID or cervical issues.
You will require further investigations to come to the exact cause for your symptoms to be able to start with treatment.
Take care.
