In the past 11 months I have had an irregular period 3 times...the first time it happened after my norman period and lasted for about almost 2 weeks...i went to my doctor, she didnt help much...and my last resort was a 3 hour wait at the hospital and all they said was that it was stress. Some people i have talked to it about asked me if i was pregnant, but i have no idea. It is happening to me again, i am not sure if it is stress but my normal period was about a week and a half ago, and now im bleeding again. can someone offer me some insight on all of this
it would be greatly appreciated

Sometimes, a period isn't regular for a variety of reasons. Stress, eating habits, medications...these are the big reasons a cycle may be off. However, some women have a naturally irregular cycle. It's usually nothing to be concerned over, but very annoying.

Has anything drastically changed in your life over the past 11 months?

Have you tried birth control? A lot of women get on birth control because it supplies them with some regularity (not to mention many other things).

There probably isn't a definitive answer as to WHY it's happening. Your body is a tricky thing, and it's annoying!
