Q: Bleeding in First Trimester

I am currently 7 week pregnant and have now had bleeding twice not like spotting but like a period. This last time is was like a faucet had been turned on and I passed some clots. I have had several ultra sounds and they say the baby is fine, and I am fine. I saw the heartbeats myself. I can't seem to get an answer for the bleeding. It seems to be coming about the time my period would. Has anyone else had "periods" while pregnant? I am just worried about why it is happening. My doctor has put me on progesterone pills saying he thinks I have a uterus resistant to stretching. Has anyone heard of this?

Sorry when I said heartbeats I just meant the heartbeat each time I had the ultra sound. I have had like 5 in the last week.

Bleeding while pregnant
i have a friend with the same situation..shes pregnant and until she delivered the baby shes bleeding..the doctor said as long as the babys fine and still have a heartbeat you do not have to worry about it but you have to be very careful on your body moving...she gave birth on her 8 months and the babys fine..shes now turning to one year old....

Thats kinda scary. That happened to my mom. They told her either her playtlettes were low, or she had a miscarriage. I would definitely push your doctors to keep checking. But I have heard of women who bled throughout their whole pregnancy.
