After my partner and I have sex in the doggy-style position I bleed. It's not a lot of blood but it's not a little bit, either. It doesn't last very long (aprox 1 hour) and it's not because I'm dry. It's only just started to happen in the last couple of months and only when we have sex in this position. What could be causing it?

capricorn1981, All women suffer some trauma to their vaginas during sex. These are usually micro tears, bruising and chaffingand are they should only be visible using deyes (this is used to find damage to the vagina after an assault). Dryness, bumping into your cervix and being close to menstruation can certainly cause some worse tearing and bleeding.

Doggy normally means rough and lustful sex and he will be putting some pressure on the back wall of your vaginal entrance due to the angles. This area ius extremely soft and easy to tear.

Have you taken a nmirror to see if you can see anything after sex?

If this continues, see your ObGyn to rule out infections, STDs or some other problems.

Take care!

I just spoke with my obgyn about this a couple weeks ago. She basically said that our cervix is alot like lips and when the head of a mans penis hits it (during deep penetration...IE: doggy) its like rubbing chapped lips its almost like your cervix gets chaffed. As long as your not having large amounts of blood she told me its normal.
