Hello,

In late July, I had an abscess on my left breast and had it cut and drained and received antibiotics for it and was taking them until mid-august. My doctor told me that I would probably see spotting and changes in my period for 2-3 months because of the antibiotics.

I had sex once in early august and saw bleeding during sex but I thought it was from the antibiotics. It happened again once in september and again last week.

I got a pregnancy test, pap smear and tests for HIV, STDs and STIs about a month ago and all came back negative. I've never had this problem until taking the antibiotics but I am not sure what else could have caused this. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance!
